Filters

• Country and City — auto-detected from your location. Change them to search elsewhere.
• Cinema — pick a specific cinema or search all of them. Searching all cinemas uses more data and may be slower.
• Day — today through the next 7 days.
• Earliest Start / Latest End — filter screenings by time. "Latest End" past midnight means the next day (e.g., setting start at 8 PM and end at 2 AM).
• Minimum Rating — filter by community rating (0–10). Set to "Any" to see everything.

Your search filters are captured in the page URL as you change them. Click the Share button to copy a link that reproduces your exact search setup — country, city, cinema, day, time filters, and rating.

When someone opens your shared link, the filters are restored and the search runs automatically. No personal data is shared — just the filter settings.

Three small buttons on each movie card let you keep track of movies:

• ♥ Want to see — adds the movie to your watchlist. Watchlisted movies are highlighted with a gold border when they appear in search results.
• ✓ Already seen — hides the movie from future search results.
• ✕ Not interested — also hides the movie from results.

Hidden movies show a count at the top of the results ("N hidden") with a manage link where you can view your lists and unhide movies.

If you're not signed in, your lists are saved in your browser and are local to your device. Sign in as a member to sync your lists across all your devices.

How it works

MOOVEE combines data from multiple sources to give you the best information available:

• Movie metadata (posters, ratings, synopses, cast) comes from TMDb — a free, community-driven movie database.
• Cinema locations and showtimes come from SerpApi, which aggregates showtime data from cinema websites worldwide.

Free and paid tiers

Everyone can search for free, but the free tier has monthly and daily limits. Cinema lists are cached for 30 days and showtimes for 23 hours, so repeat searches for the same city are fast and don't count against limits.

When the free tier is exhausted, you can become a member to continue searching. It costs just €0.01 per search — a €5 top-up gives you around 500 searches. There's no subscription — your credit stays until you use it.

Member contributions help cover the cost of the data providers that make MOOVEE possible. The typical monthly cost for showtime data is around $25.

Missing a cinema?

Cinema lists come from search results and may not include every cinema in your city. If a cinema is missing, let us know using the "Request a cinema" option in the city dropdown.

Becoming a member gives you:

• No daily or monthly search limits — search as much as you want, at just €0.01 per search
• Lists synced across devices — your watchlist, seen, and dismissed lists are saved to your account

Sign in with Google on the Account page to become a member. There's no subscription — top up when you want, and if your credit runs out you're simply back to the free tier.
